Dockline Discussions is our community forum—a place where neighbors can ask questions, share ideas, and work through issues together. It’s built on bbPress, which keeps things simple, focused, and easy to use.

How It Works

• Formatting: You can use just a few tools to keep conversations clear—bold, italics, simple bullet lists, and links. That’s it—no complicated editors or flashy extras.

• Replying: To join in, just scroll down to the reply box at the bottom of a topic, type your message, and click submit. Your reply will appear in the thread for everyone to see.

• Starting a Topic: If you want to begin a new discussion, use the “Start a Conversation” form within the forum section.

Subscriptions

• Every topic and forum has its own subscribe/unsubscribe button at the top.

• Click Subscribe to receive email notifications whenever there’s a new reply.

• Click Unsubscribe if you no longer want updates.This is individually controlled—you manage your own subscriptions. There’s no global mailing list, and no one else can add or remove you.

Etiquette

• Be solution-oriented. It’s fine to raise problems, but always aim to offer ideas or next steps.

• Respect each other. Disagree with ideas, not people.

• Stay on topic. Keep discussions focused so neighbors can follow along easily.

• Keep it constructive. The forum is meant for building understanding, not tearing down.
